God is stronger than your trials and tribulations
How many times have you been through a situation where you didn’t understand why it happened? The word says: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivereth him out of them all (Psalm 34:19). Being a Christian isn’t a remedy for having a perfect life, but it is the realization that the Lord is our comfort, can give us peace in the middle of a storm, and gives us hope for our future.
Recently my husband and I lost our first child. This was a traumatic situation where we had to lean on the Lord to get us through. We didn’t understand why we were going through the situation, or the reason, but God’s word was a peace to us, and through it we understood who God is, and that is where our victory lies. The bible says “The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace.” (Psalm 29:11) and God gave us that.
Instead of focusing on all the things we felt went wrong or what we could have done differently, we trusted that the Lord was in control and that his will was and still is prevailing. We know sometimes the enemy will try to get in your head and tell you one thing, but the devil is a liar, and nothing he says lines up with the word. My husband and I truly believe that we have the victory in this situation and that our future is bright, God loves us and you soo much, and he came to give us abundant life. That is what we cling to.
The wrong thing to do in a traumatic situation is to blame God. We must always remember that the Lord is our help, and that he is on our side(Psalm 124:8, Psalm 33:20, Romans 8:31) trials and tribulations come, and this is where the Word comes into play. You must be faithful and trust that God knows the end from the begininng, and that everything is working out for your good. We know that one day we will have a house full of beautiful children, and when the time is right, we will have that.
If you have been through, or are going through this situation right now, just know that God is on your side. He loves you and will be a comfort to you. Don’t give up faith in the Lord, and in his word he will see you through. He cares for you, and wants nothing but the best for you and your family. Stay strong in the Lord, trust God, and make sure your words line up with the word, and you will receive the things God has specifically for you. God is greater than your situation, and greater than you can believe, he can do the impossible, trust, believe, know that he is an awesome God, and he wants you to have children. Just remember that weeping may endure for a night, but Joy comes in the Morning. And over time, you will have joy.
